Steel, wood, aluminum, or glass-paneled — 5 Star Garage Door Service measures your Amity, OR opening precisely and installs a door sized and balanced to fit it correctly.
Every Amity, OR technician dispatched for Garage Door Installation carries the specific tools and parts this job requires, not a generic all-purpose kit.
We'd rather send one truck that's actually equipped for garage door installation than three that aren't, even if it means a slightly longer wait on a rare occasion.
We measure your actual opening rather than working from assumed standard sizes.
Steel, wood, aluminum, and glass doors each carry different tradeoffs — we walk through them honestly.
Crews are scheduled with enough time to complete the full install, not rushed.
We register warranty on your behalf where required.
The most common choice for durability and value — steel resists dents better than aluminum and needs less maintenance than wood.
Real wood and composite carriage doors add distinct curb appeal — humid Amity, OR climates factor into the maintenance conversation.
Lightweight aluminum frames with glass panels suit modern architectural styles — tempered safety glass is used throughout for impact resistance.
Upgrading to an insulated door improves temperature control — we explain R-value differences for your specific Amity, OR climate.
Older homes sometimes have openings that don't match standard sizes — we measure twice before ordering custom material.

Yes, removal and disposal of the old door is included in standard installation pricing.
We'll give a specific timeline once the door and hardware are selected.
Wood adds curb appeal but needs more regular maintenance, especially in humid areas.
If a living space shares a wall with the garage, the impact is bigger.
Custom orders take longer to arrive than stock doors.
We don't pair a new door with old, mismatched hardware.
